Interview:

Pat Mucklow

Pat Mucklow first encountered the Western Highlands through postcards sent home by her father. Later she earned the name "Pat the Western Isles" through her long association with Bruce Watt's flagship and gradually became part of the Mallaig lifeboat crew.

In this interview she recounts some memories of lifeboat service and tells us how she discovered that she was the RNLI's first female crewmember.

Pat was interviewed by Jill de Fresnes.
