I have traced my family to no 17 Mallaig vaig also known as the shoemakers house. My GG grandfather was Donald MacDonald married to Christina Gilles from Arisaig. My G Grandfather was Ronald (Hugh) who moved to Moss in Moidart as the Blacksmith and Married Christine MacDonald from Mingarry. My Grandmother was Mina (Philomina) who married John Foy in Glossop. My father was Alec Foy. I have traced this far through the census and believe that Donalds father may have been called Donald too and his wife Catherine. Can anyone help me Steph.
